Top 25 Soundtracks

Here are my Top 25 Soundtracks (generally original scores) of all time. Most are from movies, with a few from TV miniseries. The Top 10 are really interchangeable. It’s hard to pick a single #1 soundtrack of all time, but all 10 of these are worthy of that designation.

  1. If you haven’t heard it, get the soundtrack of Conan The Barbarian. Think what you may of the film, but I think it’s the greatest whole movie soundtrack ever- it is more than simply a main theme and some incidental pieces- every track is epic and works as a stand alone. I find it one of the few soundtracks to crossover into my ‘normal’ listening and I can listen to it throughout as often as I can listen to Revolver, The Wall, Bad, The Bends, The Holy Bible etc etc
